About the speaker 

Simon Amos has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. He has predominantly worked with large contractors delivering commercial buildings such as office developments, hospitals and shopping centres. 

He is a strong advocate of leveraging data to be the single source of truth in construction, particularly in trying to bridge the gap between design and site execution. 

Simon has been cycling for many years and has regularly been seen as a MAMIL (Mature Aged Male in Lycra) on the road river circuit on weekends around Perth. He has participated in numerous charity rides, the most challenging of which was the 1,000-kilometre ride from Esperance to Perth for Teen Challenge where he learned that wind is the cyclists’ archenemy.
