For thousands of years, the Whadjuk Nyoongar people have lived on the lands of Boorloo (Perth) and used yarning to pass history, culture and perspectives of the future between generations.

TEDxPerth acknowledges the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as the Custodians of these lands and waterways, and extends our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.

About this event

TEDxPerth 2019 was an action-packed day, with 16 short yet powerful talks. It also featured exceptional performances, speaker Q&As, short films and interactive activations.

‘The Human Adventure’, at Perth Concert Hall, showcased ideas and incredible experiences from Western Australia’s brightest minds.

Our attendees were encouraged to release their creativity, share stories, and experience awe.

Wherever you are in your own adventure, it’s your curiosity for new ideas and fresh perspectives that makes you human.

Your day at TEDxPerth will be a journey through ideas and innovations. Starting with a warm welcome and introductory session, you will be guided through a series of talks, with breaks to reflect, discuss, and network. The day concludes with a closing session, encapsulating the spirit of the day and leaving you inspired.
