About this talk

Professor Fiona Stanley observed an ‘upside’ to the COVID-19 pandemic—that science was valued.

She suggests if we continue to take notice of the science in other areas, including climate change, it will help ensure that research is translated into action.

As the closing speaker of TEDxPerth’s WA Climate Leadership Summit 2020, Professor Stanley challenges us to embed three new approaches to social and climate justice in our journey to a zero carbon State.
