Welcome to TEDxYouth@Perth

TEDxYouth@Perth is a half-day, affordable, event for young people. Presented at Perth’s State Theatre Centre of WA on 20 March 2021, TEDxYouth@Perth will be streamed online FREE so that every young person and school in WA can be part of the global TED community.

TEDxYouth@Perth is for every young person in WA, whether they attend the event or watch the livestream – everyone is invited to participate.

This is where young thinkers, innovators, entrepreneurs, campaigners and changemakers from Perth and WA come together to celebrate ideas worth spreading and strive for a better future. With nine remarkable speakers, performers, short films, interactive installations and the chance to meet over three hundred like-minded young people, TEDxYouth@Perth connects the local to the global.

TEDxYouth@Perth can only happen through the generosity of the many volunteers, partners and speakers who all give their time freely. Devised by five young curators and led by our Youth Panel, TEDxYouth@Perth tackles the issues which young people are passionate about.
